Abstract
An electrical transmitter () is provided that comprises an ethernet connection () and a power source. Electronics () are configured to receive the ethernet connection () and the power source. The electronics () comprise logic operable to detect the power source and accept power from either the ethernet connection () or a dedicated power connection (). A remappable power connection terminal () with the electronics () is operable to accept power when the dedicated power connection () is detected, and operable to accept a non-power connection when power from the ethernet connection () is detected.
