Abstract

An image signal processor () according to an embodiment inputs, as an input image, a mosaic image in which pixel blocks each of which is formed of a plurality of pixels of the same color sharing one lens () are arrayed. The image signal processor performs interpolation processing on the entire surface of the input image based on a pixel signal of a pixel of a predetermined color included in the input image to generate a first image signal. The image signal processor generates a second image signal, which has a difference based on a relative position of a pixel of interest with respect to the lens and has a lower resolution than the first image signal, based on the input image. The image signal processor generates a conversion pixel whose position after conversion corresponds to a position of the pixel of interest.
