Abstract
In one embodiment, a vacuum-actuated surgical grasper includes a suction head adapted to interface with patient tissue, a suction tube connected to and in fluid communication with the suction head, and a handle connected to the suction tube, the handle comprising an internal passage in fluid communication with the suction tube through which fluid from the suction tube can flow and a pivotable actuation lever that controls this flow through the passage.
