Abstract
A fluid-injected compressor installation () comprises a screw compressor () with a compression housing () in which a pair of compressor rotors () are mounted. A drive motor () drives the compressor rotors. An inlet () and an outlet () on the screw compressor () supply a gas and discharge compressed gas. A gear transmission () between the shaft () of one of the compressor rotors and the motor shaft (), includes a driven gear () and a driving gear (); a motor bearing () on the motor shaft () next to the driving gear (); and a dynamic seal () next to the motor bearing (), on the drive motor () side, such that the motor bearing () is between the driving gear () and the seal ().
