Abstract
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a wound dressing layer. The wound dressing layer may include an open-cell foam. The foam may have a 50% compression force deflection of not more than about 4.8 kPa. The foam may also have a density of at least 24 kg/m. The foam may exhibit a density increase of a factor of at least 12 at about −75 mmHg.
