Abstract
A handle assembly () of a hand-held surgical instrument () includes a handle housing (), a motor (), and a dual thread lead screw () operably coupled to the motor () and configured to move proximally and/or distally in response to an actuation of the motor (). A first thread pitch of the lead screw () is suitable for effecting a closing of jaw members () of an end effector (), and a second thread pitch of the lead screw () is suitable for effecting a stapling function of the end effector ().
