Abstract

An organic electroluminescence device includes an anode, an emitting layer, and a cathode, in which the emitting layer contains a first compound and a second compound, the second compound satisfying (a), (b), (c), and (d) of: (a) a half bandwidth being 30 nm or less; (b) ionization potential being 6.0 eV or less; (c) a singlet energy S(M2) being 2.6 eV or more; and (d) a peak top in a toluene solution being 465 nm or less.
