Abstract
A method performed by a first base station (BS) in a secondary cell group (SCG) associated with a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method receives, from a second BS in a master cell group (MCG) associated with the UE, a request for a configuration for packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) data duplication. The method then generates a mapping configuration for the PDCP data duplication in the SCG after receiving the request. The method transmits, to the UE, the mapping configuration.
