Abstract
The present invention discloses a PET-coated wire for a hanger wherein the wire is coated with PET to form a PET coating having a thickness of 0.03 to 0.05 mm, and a hanger made of the wire. The PET coating apparatus for a wire used for a hanger of the present invention comprises a preheating devicefor preheating the cleaned wireto 220 to 250° C., an extruderand a dicefor coating the preheated wirewith PET to form a PET coating having a thickness of 0.03 to 0.05 mm, a cooling bathfor cooling the PET-coated wire, and a winding devicefor drawing out and winding the cooled wire. The cooling bathof the present invention is designed such that the wire passes through the cooling bathhaving a length of 5 m three times for sufficient cooling when the wire proceeds at a high speed of 220 to 300 m/min.
