Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a wheel assembly () for an article of luggage, such as a suitcase (). The wheel assembly () comprises: a central support element (); a first wheel () rotatably attached to the central support element (); a second wheel () rotatably attached to the central support element () on an opposing side to the first wheel (), wherein the first wheel () and the second wheel () share a common axis of rotation X; and wherein each of the first wheel () and the second wheel () are substantially hemispherical in shape.
