The safety of an assembled battery is improved. An insulating sheetis to be interposed between battery cellshaving planar surfacesfacing each other and is formed of a resin composition containing an inorganic filler. An assembled batteryincludes a plurality of battery cellshaving planar surfacesand the insulating sheet. The insulating sheetis interposed in at least one facing sectionof the plurality of battery cellswhose planar surfacesare arranged to face each other.
