Abstract
A light converging member () according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a recess portion () that is used for an optical component () with an optical element () for emitting light, the recess portion being opposed to the optical element () and having a size 0.5 or more times larger than the maximum length of a light emission region in the optical element; and a lens body () for converging light having passed through the recess portion ().
