Abstract
A luminaire () or electrical unit for connection to a supporting rail () has a contacting element (), which is introducible into the supporting rail profile () and has connection contacts () mounted adjustably in order to bear against lines () of the busbar () in a state in which the contacting element () has been inserted into the supporting rail profile (). The contacting element () has at least one contact block () with connection contacts (), which is linearly laterally adjustable between an open position and a contacting position.
