Abstract

The present invention relates to a metallic decorative member which when a transparent base material containing rubber particle is used, is able to make the metallic luster after molding excellent. The metallic decorative member is one including a metal vapor deposited film having a metal vapor deposited layer on a transparent base material, the transparent base material being disposed so as to face toward the outer layer side, wherein the transparent base material is a transparent resin base material containing rubber particles and a binder resin; the metal vapor deposited layer has island portions composed of a metal and sea portions positioning between the island portions; and an area A per island portion is 4,400 to 56,000 nm.
