Abstract
A cap for a container comprises: The retaining ring and the closure element are separated by a separation line, which extends externally of the hinge structure. The hinge structure comprises at least one connection band which connects the closure element to the retaining ring, the connection band being defined inside a recess provided in a side wall of the cap, the side wall extending about said axis.
