Abstract
The purpose of the invention is to achieve a miniaturized power tool. Provided is a hammer drill (A) that includes: a brushless motor () that is a drive source for a tip tool (); a control unit for controlling the driving of the brushless motor (); a motor housing () to which the brushless motor () is attached; and a handle housing () provided with a grip (). The control unit includes: a switching board () and a Hall element board (); and a converter board () on which an electrolytic capacitor () is installed. The brushless motor () is disposed to be sandwiched between the electrolytic capacitor (), and the switching board () and the Hall element board (), along the axial direction (M) of a drive shaft () that drives the tip tool ().
