Abstract

A motor includes an annular stator core having a plurality of core segments connected via connecting portions in a circumferential direction about an axis, a cover portion covering the stator core and having a core-surrounding portion surrounding the stator core from an outer side in a radial direction about the axis, and a rotor having a rotor core provided on an inner side of the stator core in the radial direction and a magnet attached to the rotor core. The magnet forms a first magnetic pole, and a part of the rotor core forms a second magnetic pole. A minimum distance Rin the radial direction from the axis to an outer circumference of the core-surrounding portion and a minimum distance Rin the radial direction from the axis to an outer circumference of the stator core satisfy R≥1.15×R
