Abstract
The invention relates to a fuel cell () comprising two gas diffusion layers (), two electrode elements (') and a membrane element (). The membrane element () is arranged between the two gas diffusion layers (), each electrode element (′) being embedded between a gas diffusion layer () and the membrane element (). The membrane element () is in the form of an amorphous carbon layer.
