Abstract

A control device () of a flying object includes a generator (), a driving source (), a battery (), an electric motor (), a rotor blade (), a battery status determination part (), a variable pitch mechanism (), and a pitch change control part (). The electric motor () is driven by electric power supplied from at least one of the generator () and the battery (). The rotor blade () is driven by the electric motor (). The battery status determination part () determines a state of charge of the battery (). The variable pitch mechanism () changes a pitch of the rotor blade (). The pitch change control part () determines whether the pitch of the rotor blade () is changed based on a charging rate of the battery determined by the battery status determination part ().
