Abstract

A system for improving a patient's vision, comprising means for diagnosing and monitoring a deterioration in macular vision or macular vision loss in the patient's eye, and means for augmenting the use of a preferred retinal location (PRL) and eccentric fixation in case the deterioration in macular vision or macular vision loss was detected.
