Abstract

An object of the invention is a thermal management device () for a battery, including an extruded plate (). The extruded plate () comprises a first channel () and a second channel (), configured to allow a flow of a coolant. The extruded plate () also includes at least one encapsulation cavity (), intended to be filled by a Phase Change Material. The first channel, the second channel and the encapsulation cavity extend between a front face () and a rear face () of the extruded plate (). The device comprises an inlet/outlet cap (), connected to the front face () and a diverting cap ('), connected to the rear face (). Both caps provide plugs of each encapsulation cavity. The diverting cap forms a connecting channel (), connecting the first channel () to the second channel ().
