Abstract

A catalyst compound and process for olefin polymerization. The catalyst can be represented by Formula (I): wherein: M is a transition metal selected from group 3, 4, or 5 of the Periodic Table of Elements; L is a linking group selected from any one or more difunctional C-Chydrocarbyl, aryl or substituted aryl groups; T is an optional bridging group; each X is a univalent anionic ligand, or two Xs are joined and bound to the metal atom to form a metallocycle ring, or two Xs are joined to form a chelating ligand, a diene ligand, or an alkylidene ligand; Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or substituted or unsubstituted Cto Chydrocarbyl group; R, R, Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted Cto Chydrocarbyl group, and, optionally, any two of R, R, and Rcan be joined to form a cyclic structure; Ris a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; and R, R, R, and Rare each independently a substituted or unsubstituted Cto Chydrocarbyl group and, optionally, Rand Rare joined to form a cyclic structure.
