Abstract
An electroacoustic transduceris described. The electroacoustic transducercomprises an active element. The electroacoustic transducercomprises an acoustic coupling layerarranged to acoustically couple, in use, the active elementto a transmission medium. The electroacoustic transducerfurther comprises a cavityarranged between the active elementand the acoustic coupling layerto receive a fluid. In this way, acoustic coupling of the electroacoustic transducerand the transmission medium is improved.
