An exhaust muffler for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a muffler housing () with an outer shell () enclosing a muffler interior (), through which exhaust gas can flow. An inner shell () is arranged in the muffler interior () and covers the outer shell () in at least some areas on an inner side () facing the muffler interior ().
