Abstract
Disclosed are methods and systems for detecting a target gas, which involve a configuration of a light source () and paper tape () such that light () emitted from the light source () can transmit through the paper tape (). At least some of the portion of light () which transmits through a paper tape () can be detected with a detector (). Detection of the light () can be used to determine presence or absence of low concentrations of the target gas.
