An emergency opening device for an aircraft door provided with an opening mechanism includes an actuation device () for actuating the opening mechanism, having: a tubular operating member () equipped with a second locking end () that includes a radial retaining finger (); flexible compression device (); a retaining member () for the second locking end (), the retaining member () including a hook () which has a stop surface, the retaining member () being rotatable about the movement axis of the operating member (); activation device () for the actuation device (), adapted to cause the retaining member () to open.
