Abstract
The present invention provides a new production method for a chlorobenzene compound. Specifically, the present invention provides a production method in which the compound represented by formula (1) (in the formula, Xrepresents a halogen atom) and chlorine are reacted in the presence of a Brønsted acid, thereby obtaining the chlorobenzene compound represented by formula (2) (in the formula, Xrepresents the same as above).
