Abstract

A device having a housing () and a rotary element () mounted in the housing () such that it can be rotated and axially shifted (). In order to reduce bearing loads in the rotary element (), with eccentric loading of the rotary element (), the device provides at least one first support surface () on an end side () of the rotary element () and a second support surface () axially, opposite () the first support surface () on the housing (). The rotary element () is then mounted in the housing () in such a way that, with the impact of an axial force () on the rotary element (), the axial shiftability () of the rotary element () is limited by the support () of the first support surface () on the second support surface ().
