Abstract
A pharmaceutical composition comprises aextract as an active ingredient, for preventing or treating prostatic hyperplasia, and may also be used in a food composition. Theextract may be used to treat and prevent prostatic hyperplasia by exhibiting effects of a reduction in prostate weight, a reduction in DHT as a prostatic hyperplasia inducing factor, and a reduction in prostate epithelial cell hyperplasia.
