Abstract
A terminal to be connected to a wire is provided with a terminal body including a sandwiching portion for sandwiching the wire, and a tubular slide portion for accommodating the terminal body inside, the slide portion being slidable with respect to the terminal body. The slide portion includes a wide portion located on a front side in a sliding direction of the slide portion and a narrow portion located behind the wide portion in the sliding direction, an inner shape of the slide portion being narrower in the narrow portion than in the wide portion. The narrow portion is provided with a pressurizing portion projecting inwardly of the slide portion. The pressurizing portion presses the sandwiching portion toward the wire with the slide portionslid in the sliding direction with respect to the terminal body and the narrow portion located outside the sandwiching portion.
