The apparatus () includes a liquid storage tank (), a combustion chamber (), a flue () disposed above the combustion chamber (), and, a condensate collector (). The condensate collector () includes a receptacle () positioned in an entry end () of the flue (), a discharge outlet () for discharging condensate collected in the receptacle () for subsequent transfer to a drain.
