Abstract

The present disclosure provides a method of increasing aggregation in a soil comprising the step of administering to the soil an amount of a microalgae material to increase aggregation in the soil compared to a substantially identical untreated soil, wherein the microalgae material comprisescells and/orcells. Also disclosed is a method of enhancing the active carbon score of a soil, comprising administering an amount of a microalgae material to the soil to increase the active carbon score of the soil compared to a substantially identical untreated soil, wherein the microalgae material comprisescells and/orcells.
