Abstract
A composition for inhibiting lipofuscin accumulation or removing lipofuscin is disclosed. Asp. strain, a lysate of thesp. strain, a culture of thesp. strain, or an extract of the lysate or culture is included in the composition. The composition provides an anti-aging effect by inhibiting lipofuscin accumulation or removing lipofuscin. The composition also provides an effect of preventing, ameliorating or treating the diseases caused by the lipofuscin accumulation, such as skin hyperpigmentation, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, myocardial infarction and age-related macular degeneration.
