Abstract

A liquid crystal display deviceincludes pixel electrodesthat are spaced apart from each other, touch electrodes, each of which forms a capacitance with a finger, which is a position input body performing position input, to detect a position of input by the finger, which is the position input body, a touch linethat is sandwiched between adjacent pixel electrodesand is connected to the touch electrodes, and at least two source linesthat extend parallel to the touch line. The source linestransmit image signals to the pixel electrodes. The source linesare disposed such that one of the two pixel electrodesis sandwiched between the touch lineand one of the two source linesand another one of the two pixel electrodesis sandwiched between another one of the two source linesand the touch line
