Abstract
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and health functional food for preventing or treating neurodegenerative diseases which include a flower extract ofor fractions thereof as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition and health functional food for preventing or treating neurodegenerative diseases are, not like extracts from stems and/or roots of, free from genotoxicity and have superior prophylactic or treatment effects against neurodegenerative diseases.
