Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may communicate on a primary carrier using a first antenna port. The UE may communicate on a secondary carrier using a second antenna port. The UE may determine whether to switch the secondary carrier from the second antenna port to the first antenna port based on a channel condition associated with the second antenna port. The UE may switch the secondary carrier from the second antenna port to the first antenna port based on a determination to switch the secondary carrier from the second antenna port to the first antenna port.
