Abstract

A semiconductor deviceincludes: a first external terminalto which a first voltage is to be applied; a second external terminalto which a second voltage is to be applied; a third external terminal; first wiringconnected to the first external terminal; second wiringconnected to the second external terminal; an internal block circuitconnected to the first wiring; a first resistorand a transistorserially connected between the first wiringand the second wiring; and a second resistorconnected between the first wiringand the second wiring. The transistorturns on or off based on a test signal fed from the third external terminal. This configuration enables product identification using a resistance value, even if a predetermined resistance value cannot be changed.
