Abstract

A timepiece mechanism () for disengaging a gear train. The timepiece mechanism () includes a gear set (), a disengagement member (), a holding member () and a control member (). The gear set () includes a first wheel (), a second wheel () and an intermediate wheel () configured to be driven by or for driving the first wheel () and/or for driving the second wheel (). The holding member () holds the first wheel () and/or the second wheel () when the disengagement member (), controlled by the control member (), moves the intermediate wheel () between an engaged position () and a disengaged position (). Hence the timepiece mechanism () is held in position while disengaging the watch mechanism.
