Abstract

Protection apparatus for a flexible elongate member. The apparatus comprises a plurality of protection members. Each protection memberdefines an openingthrough which a flexible elongate member can extend. Each protection memberis interconnectable end to end with other such protection membersto provide protection along the length of an elongate member. Each protection membercomprises two partswhich are mountable together to define the openingthrough which an elongate member can extend. The two partstogether form a female formationat one end, and a male formationat the other end, such that the female formationcan receive a male formationon an adjacent protection memberto interconnect the adjacent projection members. The female and male formationsare configured to permit a predetermined amount of relative pivotal movement between adjacent protection members
