Abstract

The invention relates to a device () for working a surface () of a workpiece () by means of a laser beam (), comprising a laser system () for providing the laser beam () and a plasma nozzle (), which is designed to produce an atmospheric plasma jet (), wherein the plasma nozzle () has a nozzle opening ('), from which a plasma jet () produced in the plasma nozzle (′) exits during operation, wherein the laser system () and the plasma nozzle () are arranged in relation to each other and designed in such a way that, during operation, the laser beam () exits from the nozzle opening (′) of the plasma nozzle () together with the plasma jet (). The invention further relates to an assembly () having such a device and to a method for operating said device ().
