Abstract

An apparatus () for metered dispensing of a liquid from a container () and a spray applicator having the apparatus (). The apparatus () comprises a base body () and a nozzle body () having an outlet nozzle. The nozzle body () is mounted so as to be displaceable relative to the base body () from a dispensing to a clamping position. The apparatus () comprises a reset spring () for moving the nozzle body () from the clamping to the dispensing position. The nozzle body () and the valve body form a burst chamber (). By pressure on the trigger mechanism (), the locking of the valve body () is triggered and the spray burst spring () presses the valve body () in the nozzle direction. A non-return valve is arranged upstream in the valve body. The spray burst chamber is connected to the outlet nozzle.
