Abstract
In-car communication and hands-free talking with good sound quality are realized. An echo cancelation apparatus () is for use in a vehicle in which microphones (M, M) and loudspeakers (S, S) are disposed in acoustic regions (). A loudspeaker (S) and a microphone (M) are disposed in a first acoustic region (), and a loudspeaker (S) and a microphone (M) are disposed in a second acoustic region (). An acoustic signal picked up by the microphone (M) disposed in the first acoustic region () is emitted from the loudspeaker (S) disposed in the second acoustic region (). An acoustic signal picked up by the microphone (M) disposed in the second acoustic region () is emitted from the loudspeaker (S) disposed in the first acoustic region (). The microphone (M) is designed to hardly collect a sound emitted from the loudspeaker (S).
