Abstract
The present invention relates generally to cosmetic compositions and methods that can be used to increase skin hydration, increase adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production in skin, increase antioxidant capacity of skin, reduce glycation of skin, or a combination thereof. In particular, topical application of the compositions to skin increases adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production in skin by at least 10%, increases antioxidant capacity of skin, and/or reduces glycation of skin by at least 50%. In particular, the compositions can include() flower extract,(Grape) seed extract, hydrolyzed sodium hyaluronate, Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF), and optionally carnosine.
