Abstract

A laser assembly () for generating an assembly output beam () includes a laser subassembly () including a first laser module (A) and a second laser module (B), a transform assembly (), and a beam combiner (). The first laser module (A) emits a plurality of spaced apart first laser beams (A). The second laser module (B) emits a plurality of spaced apart second laser beams (B). The transform assembly () is positioned in a path of the laser beams (A) (B). The transform assembly () directs the laser beams (A) (B) to spatially overlap at a focal plane of the transform assembly (). The beam combiner () is positioned at the focal plane that combines the lasers beams (A) (B) to provide a combination beam. The laser beams (A) (B) directed by the transform assembly () impinge on the beam combiner () at different angles.
