Abstract
The present invention is provided with a fabric () for covering an ear pad () and a ring-shaped member () that is formed separately from the fabric () and acts in a direction towards the inner peripheral surface of the ear pad () from a recessed space () formed between the ear pad () in order to fix a portion of the fabric () to the inner peripheral surface of the ear pad () or its vicinity. The ear pad () is covered with the fabric () in a state in which the opening peripheral edge portion of the fabric () is fixed by elastic webbing () to the outer peripheral surface of the ear pad () or a housing (), while a portion of the fabric () is fixed to a bottom portion of the inner peripheral surface of the ear pad () by the ring-shaped member (). As a result, the recessed space () in the middle of the ear pad () is not closed by the fabric () even in a state in which the ear pad () is covered by the fabric (), and a headphone () can be used with a sense of use similar to that of an around ear type.
