Abstract

The invention relates to a metering valve () for controlling a gaseous medium, in particular hydrogen, comprising a valve housing (), wherein an interior space () is formed in the valve housing (). A reciprocating closing element () is arranged in the interior space (), which interacts with a valve seat () for opening or closing at least one passage channel (). Furthermore, the metering valve () comprises a nozzle (), the at least one passage channel () being formed in the nozzle () and the passage channel () having a circular-cylindrical portion.
