Abstract
The present invention relates to a linear drive (), comprising a drive shaft () that can be rotated about a longitudinal axis (X), at least one propulsion element () having a propulsion tooth (), a rack (), and at least one guide means (), wherein the at least one propulsion element () is coupled to the drive shaft () in such a way that the propulsion tooth () of said element is pressed into the rack () in a cyclical movement () during a rotation of the drive shaft () about the longitudinal axis (X) to generate an advance, and wherein, when the propulsion tooth () of the at least one propulsion element () is pressed into the rack (), the at least one guide means () forms an abutment which counteracts the rack () for the at least one propulsion element (). In addition, the present invention relates to a longitudinal adjustment unit and a motor vehicle.
