Abstract

A solar cell apparatusand a method for forming said solar cell apparatus, comprising a substrate, a n-type transparent conductive oxide (TCO) layerdeposited atop said substrate, a p-i-n structurethat includes a p-type layer, an i-type layer, a n-type layer, a metal back layerdeposited atop said n-type layerof the p-i-n structure. The n-type layercomprises n-type donorsincluding phosphorus atoms. The n-type donorsinclude oxygen atoms at an atomic concentration comprised between 5% and 25% of the overall atomic composition of the n-type layer
