A distributed processing management apparatusis connected to a plurality of execution serversso as to be able to communicate with the execution servers. The distributed processing management apparatusis provided with a conversion instruction unitconfigured to specify, for each execution server, a data format usable by a machine learning engine executed by the execution server, and issue an instruction to convert a data format of data held by the execution serverto the specified data format.
