Disclosed is a new drug application of aBenth Extract (EA), and particularly is a method of the EA used for treating multiple diseases caused by drug resistant bacteria infection. Related drug resistant bacteria include a Multi-Drug Resistant (MDR)(MDRAB), an MDR(MDRPA), an Extended-Spectrum Beta-Lactamase (ESBL) producing(ECO) and an ESBL-producing(KPN).
